I have agreed to be a JET Ambassador because I believe in the power of supporting individuals in overcoming barriers to employment and achieving their potential. JET plays a crucial role in empowering people with disabilities and other challenges to find meaningful work, and I am passionate about advocating for inclusivity in the workforce.
As an Ambassador, I am excited to raise awareness, share success stories and inspire others to see the value in diversity in the workplace. Being part of a cause that promotes independence, confidence and equal opportunity would be incredibly rewarding.
I first met Dean 13 years ago when I started my employment at the Merton Hotel. From the very first day, he made a lasting impression. Dean bounced into the office full of life, exuding energy and enthusiasm that was contagious. He reminded me of Tigger. I quickly realised that Dean's infectious spirit and dedication to his work left a lasting mark on all of us. His passion and energy were impossible to ignore, and he truly inspired those around him. Whether it was a challenge or a celebration, Dean’s presence made everything feel more vibrant and worthwhile.
