I am excited to become an Ambassador for JET so that I can promote awareness of the fantastic service they provide. As a close friend of Dean, I got to see firsthand the passion and belief he had in the importance of making JET a household name. He was an inspiration.
Now having met key staff and visiting Acorn regularly I can see the genuine care and motivation to continue what Dean worked so hard for. I want to help support that mission however and wherever I can.
I met Dean shortly after arriving in Jersey as we shared the same local pub and a love of football. Both being from the north, it didn't take much encouragement to strike up friendly conversation and he, along with his lovely Ashleigh, soon become good friends. Dean would often contact me to tell me the venues he and Tony Greed would be playing, and we had many fantastic evenings together. Dean truly was a one-off. The kindest, funniest, caring friend I have been lucky enough to have and he is missed daily.
