JET Ambassadors

Tony Greed, musician and former Acorn Reuse superviser

It would be nice to help JET in any way possible and being an Ambassador would ensure that I could maximise the opportunity to involve old colleagues in ensuring that we keep Acorn and JET in the limelight.

Dean was a huge part of my life for 24 years and a loss that I will never get over. Dean was my reason for joining Acorn as I saw all the important work he did there as well as playing in a band with him since 1999. He was kind, funny, intelligent, arty, but also had a serious, caring side. His real talent was helping people. I'll do anything to make Dean proud, Dean isn't going to be forgotten, and I can ensure that by being a JET Ambassador. While I've got a breath in my body, he won't be forgotten.

I have been living in Jersey for over 30 years. I worked in Finance for most of that time. After lockdown I wanted a change of direction, so I moved into charity work at Acorn. It was a lovely change, and it meant that I dealt with real people and helping them with their lives.
