Training is an important part of preparing for a work experience or paid role. Once you have identified your training and employment goals, our Under 25s Coordinators will help you find courses or programmes to achieve these. We work closely with lots of training providers, including:
Highlands College
Highlands College offers a huge selection of courses ranging from Sports Studies, Building Services, and Health & Social Care, to Business Studies and Digital Games Development. In addition to their full time courses, they also run university and Professional qualifications and offer a large variety of Community courses covering everything from Art, DIY Skills, Podcasting or Stop Motion Animation to learning a language. Skills Jersey offers a wide range of services including:

Acorn Training & Development
We run a number of projects at our Acorn site in Trinity, where clients have the chance to engage in a variety of projects, training and volunteering opportunities.
We have three business areas within Acorn: Acorn Reuse, Acorn Nursery and the Acorn Woodshack. We use these working environments to provide work experiences, specific training programmes and a range of voluntary group projects.
