Shop Floor Supervisor
We are recruiting for a permanent full-time shop floor supervisor to join our Acorn Reuse team. This role includes:
- Planning and organising daily tasks and providing instruction for staff and clients.
- Undertaking all shop floor related tasks including sorting and pricing donated items, restocking, cleaning and organising shelves/displays.
- Assisting customers and dealing with enquires professionally.
- Taking responsibility and training others on making decisions on whether clothing is appropriate for sale or for donation to other charities.
- Responding to pricing enquiries with customers/at the tills and deal with customer issues escalated by other staff.
- Identifying any safeguarding issues and bring them to the immediate attention of the line manager and/ or senior management team.
37.5 hours per week, including alternate Saturdays.
£16.54 per hour.

We are recruiting for a permanent full-time supervisor to join our Acorn Reuse Tea. A combined role, involving assisting with deliveries and collections and supervising on our busy shop floor. This role includes:
- Planning and organising daily tasks and providing instruction for staff and clients.
- Undertaking all shop floor related tasks including sorting and pricing donated items, restocking, cleaning and organising shelves/displays.
- Assisting customers and dealing with enquires professionally.
- Taking responsibility and training others on making decisions on whether clothing is appropriate for sale or for donation to other charities.
- Responding to pricing enquiries with customers/at the tills and deal with customer issues escalated by other staff.
- Assisting with deliveries and collections, ensuring good manual handling protocols are followed and care is taken to prevent damage to items or property.
- Identifying any safeguarding issues and bring them to the immediate attention of the line manager and/ or senior management team.
37.5 hours per week, including alternate Saturdays.
£16.54 per hour.
