Shop Floor Supervisor

We are recruiting for a permanent full-time shop floor supervisor to join our Acorn Reuse team. This role includes: 

  • Planning and organising daily tasks and providing instruction for staff and clients.  
  • Undertaking all shop floor related tasks including sorting and pricing donated items, restocking, cleaning and organising shelves/displays.  
  • Assisting customers and dealing with enquires professionally.   
  • Taking responsibility and training others on making decisions on whether clothing is appropriate for sale or for donation to other charities.  
  • Responding to pricing enquiries with customers/at the tills and deal with customer issues escalated by other staff.  
  • Identifying any safeguarding issues and bring them to the immediate attention of the line manager and/ or senior management team. 

37.5 hours per week, including alternate Saturdays.    

£16.54 per hour.

Deliveries & Shop Floor Supervisor

We are recruiting for a permanent full-time supervisor to join our Acorn Reuse Tea.  A combined role, involving assisting with deliveries and collections and supervising on our busy shop floor. This role includes: 

  • Planning and organising daily tasks and providing instruction for staff and clients.  
  • Undertaking all shop floor related tasks including sorting and pricing donated items, restocking, cleaning and organising shelves/displays.  
  • Assisting customers and dealing with enquires professionally.   
  • Taking responsibility and training others on making decisions on whether clothing is appropriate for sale or for donation to other charities.  
  • Responding to pricing enquiries with customers/at the tills and deal with customer issues escalated by other staff.  
  • Assisting with deliveries and collections, ensuring good manual handling protocols are followed and care is taken to prevent damage to items or property.
  • Identifying any safeguarding issues and bring them to the immediate attention of the line manager and/ or senior management team. 

37.5 hours per week, including alternate Saturdays.    

£16.54 per hour.
